Lupicia Orzo Tea

Okay, I was scared to try this one. It’s a barley tea, and that’s it. It brews up black, did I use too much? Not enough? Arg. It smells very nutty and grainy, and to me has a coffee flavour. Which means… I hate it. It’s not like a cup of coffee, it’s more of a grain of coffee made it’s way into my tea. Fun fact: we do not share coffee and tea travel mugs. I can still taste the coffee in the mugs even after washing. Ceramic, glass, pottery all fine, but travel mugs keep the darn scent/flavour for me.

Lupicia OrzoSo I like this on first sip, even the smell, but the tiny bit of coffee mid and aftertaste just makes me wince. Oh well.
