Work has been rough. Just a lot to do, but I’m managing. Sort of. I stress eat. So guess what? With no gym and no time to exercise I’m just getting round and squishy. So, first things first: get back to the gym. I started up my coached swim classes again a few Saturdays ago. Check! I’ll try to get to the gym after the long hours at work (so far so good), I swear, but I’ll at least have to start a nightly walk or something.
Maybe stop eating so much? I really wanted cookies one evening and I saw this recipe forÂ Ginger Molasses Cookies. Easy peasy! The only thing I changed was to use regular granulated sugar. they turned out great. I really love molasses, I think I’ll put that back into my breakfast rotation. Great source of iron!
I gave up on the photos. Some were a cool dark grey, some were bright orange. What’s the worst time for food photography? Twilight. Were these cookies going to make it past dusk? Hell no. I could have set up something inside but I just wanted to sit down with a cookie and some nice tea and destress. Nobody can fault me for that! Well, except destressing with cookies. Maybe I need to start a new video game, hrm.
