Happy Sunday! I’m just going to come to terms with the fact that since I’m not baking a lot right now I’m just not going to have a daily blog. I’m trying to really step up my “In Real Life” game. Yesterday we did touristy things and got to hang out with some friends. Today is watching some races during breakfast, the husband is working on his bike this afternoon, and a jaunt over to the county fair later to visit the bunnies.
When I don’t have dedicated time to bake, I just don’t bake. However today, yes, in real-time today… I made some scones. Well, to be more specific these Gluten Free Irish Soda Bread Scones. Didn’t change a thing and they turned out great. Since I’m all about eating every single berry in California plain, I couldn’t afford to add any to the scones so I used raisins. It was a great choice. These did not crumble, nor do they scream out that they are gluten-free. Good job scones, good job!
