Warm pudding? Sounds divine on a cold evening to be honest. I found this recipe for Warm Chocolate Cashew Cream Pudding and decided it had to be made since I love cashew based puddings!
To be fair this was going all fine and dandy, super smooth and luxurious and then in an instant the guar gum hit its tipping point and *bam* we had meh textured pudding. It was so quick of a seizure and I was whisking the whole time it took me by surprise. The taste was still great but the mouthfeel was terrible. I’ll be making this recipe again for sure but I’m leaving out the guar gum, I don’t think it needs it since my cashew cream was already a nice texture from my Blendtec.
