Slow Cooker Rice Pudding Recipe for #SundaySupper

Slow Cooker Rice PuddingI’ve been craving rice pudding for quite a while now and when the #SundaySupper crew came up with a slow-cooker theme I thought I would make something sweet. I figured you could probably cook rice pudding slowly in a crockpot and when I surfed around the internet it was confirmed: doable.

Slow Cooker Rice Pudding-2This is such a basic recipe to be honest. I ran out of soy milk so I used my carton of hazelnut milk and it was fantastic. It gave such a nutty flavour to the rice pudding. In fact, next time I’m considering adding a 1/4 cup of cocoa to make it chocolate hazelnut, yum!

  3. Oh, my, Shannon. Your rice pudding looks soooo good. I can appreciate experimenting with the different milks to add different flavors. BTW What kind of rice did you use? Short grain?
