Let’s get personal. I can be super impatient. Sure, it looks like I might pay attention to some details, but most of the time I wing things like that in life. Which is bad. Bread making is hard for me, I’d rather get things done than plan my weekend day around when I can be home to babysit dough. If a cookie dough needs to be refrigerated it generally gets made the day before or never popped into the fridge.
I really tried with these Vegan Double Chocolate Chip Heart-Shaped Cookies but my impatience got the better of me. I waited a whole half hour before rolling them out. I knew they would spread. Let’s just say my heart bloomed with love. Or something. However, these tasted crispy and fantastic. I nibbled on one last night and went to the bedroom to read a bit. Two minutes later I was nibbling another in bed. And then I went back for a third. Oops. These really kept calling my name.
