On Monday my stomach was not happy. We ate out on Sunday and both me and the husband had a sour stomach when we woke up. It wasn’t food poisoning, just “ugh, what kind of crap what that” and an upset stomach. So all I wanted was plain carbs. A bagel fit the bill.
I felt kind of guilty eating another bagel for lunch, so we went out for a salad at Mixt. Baby kale, mushrooms, carrots, croutons, carrots and chickpeas. I love Mixt but the line is always insane, thank goodness for coworkers who were hungry early.
For dinner I wanted rice, so it was easy to make a stir fry. I had more rice than veggies, because that’s what I wanted. If I was home alone I would have had just rice. Yeah. I really like rice. Since my stomach was feeling better I had some lemon tart for dessert. You can guess on the portion, but it was smaller than my usual one 😉
