Teavivre Fengqing Zhuan Cha Ripened Puerh Brick Tea

wpid-20140804_082243.jpgWe’re deep into “summer” here in the bay area and I’m needing a nudge to get out of bed.  This Fengqing Zhuan Cha Ripened Puerh certainly gave me a kick in the pants.  It’s hard with brick teas to judge how much I’m going to need (generally about 5g or half a sample packet), and as you can see I was pretty heavy handed this morning. It re-steeps really well, and it’s pretty smooth for how dark it got. This one didn’t taste fishy at all, which sometimes happens with Pu-erh.
