I wanted granola bars. I found this recipe for No-Bake Double Chocolate Super Amazing Granola Bars and decided to make them, even though I didn’t have all of the ingredients. Pfft, no worries, I can make due.
After I had dumped in most of the ingredients I noticed I was missing some of the key ones: Brazil nuts and pumpkin seeds. I can’t keep brazil nuts in the house with the husband, they disappear instantly so I used cashews. I just forgot to buy pumpkin seeds so I used sliced almonds. Things came together easily and I popped them in the freezer. Right out of the freezer I drizzled the chocolate on top and it hardened instantly from the cold, oops. Anyway, darn tasty recipe and really flexible!
