Torcettini di Saint VincentI love Italian cookies, so when I saw a recipe for Torcettini di Saint Vincent I thought I would give it a go. Why not? The recipe has yeast in it and since I make a lot of bread that was no issue. I used margarine instead of butter to make them vegan. However, I wasn’t a fan. There is only sugar on the outside, not in the cookie. And the texture is well, not to my taste. The husband thought it tasted like a stale half baked unsalted pretzel. They didn’t float our boat. Oh well. Maybe the rest will get dunked in coffee.
