What’s up homeslice? Another day, another loaf of bread. I’m almost done the BBA challenge, thank goodness I didn’t just give myself a year. Anyway, white bread. I did variation two since buttermilk is pretty easy to substitute. Almond milk with apple cider vinegar just curdles up nicely.
The texture was nice but it wasn’t “white bread” texture, like what I got out of my King Arthur Flour sandwich bread. It tasted awesome and was great as toast but a bit delicate. Not a huge deal but not great for sandwiches because of the crumb. No big deal because I’m thinking the rest of this bread might be paired with a hearty stew.
