I kind of unsubscribed from a lot of blogs last year but I still have a backup of things I want to make. These Blueberry Almond Chia Squares were in the queue. Nothing in them looked like a bad idea. Including the chia which I usually avoid because it gets stuck in my teeth. (Note: they still got stuck in my teeth.)
These ended up being sweeter than I expected which is not a bad thing. I had gotten some really expensive out of season blueberries at the store and I wanted them to shine. While there is only one tablespoon of nut butter you can really taste it. I used peanut butter since it was a closer reach than the almond butter. These are going to be breakfasts for the week if they last that long.
