Yum. I know I’m a sucker for molasses so I decided to take on this Tasty YummiesÂ recipe. Gluten-free? Okay, I’m up for it! Not a huge deal either way for me.
Molasses rocks. True story right? The recipe was easy and came together well. Unfortunately after they cooled the tell-tale aftertaste of gluten-free (that little bit of bitter on the back of your tongue) really hit me. I’m not sure what causes this for me, maybe the rice or sorghum? Maybe the nuts reacting? No clue. Anyway, the recipe is worth another shot with maybe a pre-packaged flour blend for my dumb taste buds.
