So this week is all about Tapas. And I truly love the whole grazing aspect of tapas. Plus, sharing! Okay, I’m not so good at sharing, I admit it. But when I do have a tapas meal I always want to end with something sweet. Most of the time you’ve had so much food that you just want a bite of something, and make the flavour count.
These truffles are so very easy yet full of flavour. Use a high quality chocolate, it really counts here. And be sure to share, you’ll have enough, I promise 😉

Agave Truffles
Ingredients
- 12 ounces dark chocolate
- 1/4 cup soy creamer
- 2 Tbsp agave nectar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Bring soy creamer and agave nectar to boiling, but do not boil. Pour over chopped chocolate.
- Cook, stirring, until chocolate melts and the mixture is smooth.
- Wrap bowl in plastic and refrigerate for 2 - 3 hours.
- With a teaspoon, form mixture into balls. Sift the cocoa powder and powdered sugar together. Roll each ball in the mixture. Keep refrigerated until serving.

yum I’m glad someone thought to bring dessert!
Okay, I crack up every time I come here, because the name of your blog is just awesome – and so is this recipe!
I am not vegan but we have been having fun doing a raw food night every other week with my mother-in-law. We have been trying out lots of vegan recipes and this sounds like a fun dessert treat.
Yum! I could munch of these all day long! They are the perfect little snack!!!
I know your agave truffles would not survive a day in my house. Will keep some quality dark chocolate aside for your recipe soon! =D
I love truffles! These look so good!
These look so good…and much less guilt-inducing!
It’s always better to end a great meal with something sweet. Love these!
Wow!!! I could eat a whole batch of these
I found some truffles a couple of days ago in the freezer. I vaguely remember throwing them in there some time ago, and what a happy surprise. They’re all gone now, and so I need to make some more. Love this recipe with agave!!
Hah! That sounds like me with the crisper. It’s the only safe place from the husband, he never looks in the crisper!
Oh my gosh I love your blog name! How cute is that? This recipe sounds like something that would be a huge hit with our family. Pinning for later.
Thanks so much Tammy!
Love these little guys!!! I would be afraid to have them in my house though – they would cause arguments over who gets how many and they would vanish too fast!
Mmmmm….what fun! A decadent treat with less guilt! Love these!
I agree…end with a sweet bite!

After seeing some amazing savoury tapas, I am so happy to also see some chocolate! These truffles look scrumptious!
You’re right about wanting a sweet treat after eating tapas. I received a tapas book for Christmas, and was surprised that it included sweet tapas! Anyhow…your truffles look (and I’m sure taste) amazing
Oh, I’m glad they are to be found somewhere! It was really hard to get some inspiration on Google. There is like a big dead zone on sweet tapas!
Shannon, I think I’ll start with dessert!
Truffles, in my opinion are the perfect ending to any meal!
Ooh love these and they would be a sure hit in my house 🙂 Yum!
