Bread Bakers Apprentice: Tuscan Bread
I wanted some rolls but the next bread on the BBA challenge was Tuscan bread. Much better as a loaf but I couldn’t resist little buns. The bread was already vegan so I didn’t have to make any changes. Thanks Tuscany!
My dough was pretty sticky and wasn’t really doing well but I had run out of bread flour. I added some whole wheat which gave it a different heavier texture. Not bad, just not authentic. Not that any of my breads turn out to be close to authentic. The rolls were amazing warm but lost a bit of oomph the next day.
