I knew I would like this recipe from My San Francisco Kitchen. Why? Well, it’s pretty much my tried and true recipe plus walnuts and coconut. With prettier photos. I ended up using margarine and maple syrup to make them vegan.
They were totally worth making. I feel like the walnuts just gave them extra crunch that was a good thing. I might do peanuts next time though, I just like them a bit more. The coconut got a bit lost but it helped bind everything together. This is a fun and quick treat. Bonus for not having to turn on the oven too!
