Ah stollen. Not a very popular bread around here, I blame it on the candied fruit. It’s kind of seasonal and honestly in SF we don’t have seasons, but we do have candied fruit!
So there was nothing really stopping me from the stollen recipe. Almond milk for the dairy milk, I ended up skipping the egg and added more margarine instead. It turned out great honestly.
The dough was really easy to work with. I was pretty happy with the whole experience. I might make this again closer to the holidays!
