It sounds weird, I know. However, be patient with me. I was kind of inspired when I made the banana jam to see what else I could make that was a bit unexpected with bananas. Addicted much? Maybe. However, this #SundaySupper is all about sauces.
This pudding sauce reminds me of custard that you would get served with fried bananas or other desserts. My favourite applications are pancakes and waffles. Dip fruit in it or pour it on ice cream. Or sweet rice. Maybe cake! See? It can go on anything! Plus, it’s full of protein. The recipe has an added tablespoon of maple syrup in case your bananas aren’t fully ripe. I add it because I like things a bit more sweet. And the photo of it is horrible. So sorry about that. I mean, it looks like white goop but it tastes SO much better. *sigh*

Sauces are really hard to photograph. I think you did a great job.
I love banana, so if you keep making these really yummy banana things, I may have to move in with you.
You are more than welcome if you cook for me! Man, we’d both be so happy and 400 lbs 😉
Wow – this is such a unique and delicious recipe! I love banana pudding and never thought to turn it into a sauce 🙂 Thanks for sharing!!
I had no idea how hard until I went to take a photo! I need to practice that one, it looks unappetizing on food. Hah!
Yum! What a great sauce! I can see pouring this all over a lot of different things!!

Great unique sauce, I would sure love to try it on waffles, yum!!
Lol, thanks for making me laugh with the “goop” comment about your pudding sauce. It’d be hilarious if you got a kid to spoon it from a bowl and tell people that he/she is eating paste. Regardless of how it looks, I’m super intrigued by your banana pudding sauce. This totally sounds like something I’d sip out of a jar. Just stick a straw in it!
