Wow. I can’t believe how easy and pure this recipe from Lick It! was. Seriously: cantaloupe, agave nectar and lemon juice. I think the lemon juice is optional. This one turned in the ice cream maker easily since I had it in the fridge overnight. cantaloupe seems to turn creamy before icy which is a nice thing for a sorbet.
I couldn’t resist the texture right out of the ice cream maker. So creamy and wonderful. My melon was quite ripe so I did adjust for that with a bit less agave. So refreshing and the canteloupe monster in the house (the husband) raved about this one. I only made a half batch but I think it will be gone pretty quickly.
