Oh cherries. I couldn’t totally avoid you this month. I knew I wanted an ice cream with cherries but I didn’t know what to make. I found a recipe for frozen yogurt at Curious Cuisiniere and figured I could try to substitute in coconut milk yogurt.
It worked really darn well. There was still a bit of tang in the coconut milk yogurt that really gave it that frozen yogurt flavour. Higher quality chocolate is a must here, I used Guittard again. It turned out great. I actually used frozen cherries for the froyo and it worked out well. Not bad for a Wednesday!
