100% Sourdough Rye: aka, my first real brick. The first time I made the barm it looked off. I ended up tossing it and I spent a month working on my starter. Just in case. The starter was nice this go around. The bread. Well. Yeah. Brick.
It didn’t rise. It didn’t do anything but become sticky. I though, hey maybe oven spring? Nope. What a crappy loaf. This is what it looks like when someone more proficient makes their 100% sourdough rye. Below is mine. Blah. EFF this bread, I’m moving on. This bread is so crappy I’m not even putting it on my flickr stream, I’m too embarrassed.
