Lindsay has a great April challenge going. 100 miles. I need to start moving again. Remember when I went for a walk every day? Crazy. That never became habit, even after over a month of daily walks. I just stopped. I didn’t want to do it anymore.

My goal here is to actually go outside. I want to get back into the swing of hiking and I want to do at least 4 little hikes, 1 each week this month on the weekend. The rest of the mileage I’ll make up walking I guess, or maybe even a jog or two. Maybe. I kind of hate running but I really want to be more active outside. The bad part is that kettlebells and tennis don’t count. So I’m stuck with at least walking every day. I don’t have a way to keep track of daily normal miles, like in the office so I have to actually exercise.

I went outside today, in the rain. At 6:30am. It was pretty crummy. What was worse is that Runkeeper crashed when I hit stop to my workout and everything appeared 0’s across the board. Good thing I remembered exactly what was happening at the time as I was stalking the interface. So mad. That’s never happened before. I entered it manually but I really hope it was just the crummy day.
