Let me just say that I was craving peanut butter. I thought about cookies but decided to take a healthier route: bars. I had Peanut Butter and Peppers Peanut Butter And Honey Oat Bars recipe bookmarked so I decided to try it with agave since I have, oh, 10 bottles or something in my pantry.
I didn’t substitute anything but agave for the honey and regular peanuts instead of honey roasted. Unfortunately these didn’t hold up. They were a crumbly mess even after they were fully cooled. The husband LOVED the flavour so no crumb went to waste which is kind of rare. Maybe I just needed to add more agave to make them stick more, I’m not sure. Either way, it tasted awesome and I’ll try to figure it out next time I make them.
