Yum. This is a wake up tea for sure. Even after multiple brewings it stays dark and fully flavoured. I’d say strong but it really is kind of mellow, not bitter at all. It has a long name (Mengku Palace Ripened Golden Buds) but even the tongue tie is worth it.
This tea would compete with food so I like to sip on it by itself. It’s very earthy and nice.
