I’ve been sick as hell since I woke up Saturday. Friday I had a rumble in my chest and a bit of a dry cough. Boy I didn’t know what was in store for me! So today I finally managed to at least make some tea.

My buddy Sarah is from the UK and brought me back tea on her last trip back to visit her family. She brought me two types of Twinings which was very sweet of her. The first was this Darjeeling which comes in way different packaging in the US. In fact, I don’t think I’ve seen it.

I think I might have over steeped it because it was pretty bold and bitter but I’m also pretty sensitive to tastes right now. The second steep was a bit too mellow. Honestly, I think the husband would LOVE this as an iced tea so I might brew him up a pitcher. He likes teas a bit more on the bitter side and it doesn’t phase him at all when they are iced. I’m sure if I had added milk and sugar this would have been a great cuppa but I drink everything au natural these days so I don’t think of it.
