Amazing loaf from the Bread Bakers Apprentice. I made garlic mashed potatoes for dinner the night before as well as the biga needed to start the bread. I didn’t feel like making rolls and I had made the dough quite soft so I used my loaf pan. I used dried rosemary from Penzeys and 1 bulb of roasted garlic.
Yep bulb not clove, we love garlic in this house. I was going to add it in at the end so I would have nice big chunks but instead I added it when it was kneeding and it bled through the dough. And it was amazing. While the husband was inhaling this he said that it would be great with past so that’s what was for dinner. It would also make a great sandwich. The bread stands up to any flavour you throw at it so don’t be shy.
