Vegan Mofo Day 7: Raspberry Truffle Brownies

Take two on the gluten-free baking for the party. Brownies. Can’t go wrong! Unless you are having a bad baking day. These¬†Raspberry Truffle Brownies probably would have rocked had I had better mojo.

In fact they tasted amazing. However I didn’t bake them long enough for the gluten-free flour. Also, I think these might need a bit of gluten for structure. So yeah, another dessert made and not brought to the same damn party. Thank goodness they still tasted amazing, I just used a spoon.

  1. I have made those before. Even though I used regular all purpose flour they still didn’t hold up. Mine were like fudge. It was delicious, but not quite what I was looking for.

    1. Oh wow, I’m so bummed to hear that. I wonder if they just need more flour in general. I’ve baked fudgy brownies before so it’s not like it would turn them into instant cake like brownies. Hrm.

  2. Oh my god I love those brownies. They’re my absolute favourites, I’m glad they still tasted good enough to eat even though they weren’t exactly how ya wanted them.

  3. I don’t think I’ve ever not messed up a batch of brownies. I need to dust it off and try again during mofo. I’m glad they still tasted yummy even if you had to use a spoon. I probably would have just picked at them with my hands. I’m such a lady!
