I was looking through my Everyday Cooking With Dr. Dean Ornish book for something for a meal and turned back to the dessert section. Oh, apple strudel. That always sounds fun. It’s weird that I didn’t have phyllo dough in my freezer but hey I had puff pastry!
I decided to be all fancy and fold over my pastry but I kind of rushed the thawing process so it was a mess. Not that it really matters in the grand scheme of things. I opted for adding the candied ginger and I didn’t really love it. It was still a pretty decent strudel so it was a good thing to bake.
