I haven’t made granola in a long time. Partly because I inhale it but also because if I don’t the husband forgets about it. I don’t think either of us will forget about this Banana Nut Pancake Granola.
Granola is so easy. Mix a bunch of ingredients (that are very forgiving to substitute) and bake it. The hardest part is remembering to stir. What did I substitute? I didn’t feel like pulling the flax seeds off the top shelf so I used hemp seeds. I grabbed walnuts before the pecans so I used those. It is a great recipe and I love the maple flavour. The banana chips honestly rock. I’ll make this again for sure, it was super easy and I got to be in control of the sugar and ingredients. Yum.
Yay! I’m so glad you liked it. 🙂 [And I love your substitutions. I’ve been meaning to try out hemp seeds more often, so I may just have to incorporate them in my next recipe.]
Turned out perfect! Will miss you at Foodbuzz tonight, now I’ll have to help other people pick out vegan treats!
Yum! I have been wanting to try to make my own granola for years now but somehow always convince myself otherwise. I might just have to whip this up and surprise the husband…he loves fresh granola.
