Local chocolate. There’s quite a bit of that popping up in the bay area honestly and it’s a bit hard to keep straight. I ran right up to the Dandelion Chocolate booth at the Eat Real Festival just knowing I wanted to explore a new local find.
The product line is small. There are 3 sourced chocolates all produced at a 70% cocoa rate which is a very edible product. I asked about the chocolate for baking which they said would be fine but honestly at $8 a bar it is a savouring chocolate so I haven’t wanted to waste it on baking. They don’t have a baking option like Tcho nor do they sell off bars (or honestly, any other percentages which affects me for recipe creation). They are moving into a new space in the Mission which is pretty cool, I wish them well!
