Yum! Please note, this is a large plate. I made Shannon sized cookies this time because I really didn’t feel like eating a couple. This recipe from Une Garmine Dans La Cuisine is easy. The worst of it is grinding the oats, and that’s not very hard at all.

I made a quarter of a batch and got 3 huge cookies. I omitted the egg and used margarine. They spread beautifully and had a nice crisp texture but were still a bit soft on the inside. Oatmeal perfection. I really liked the glaze and used soy creamer but I’m pretty sure just water would have been fine as well.
