Got a bunch of carrots in the CSA last week, I should probably make hummus to dip them in. Instead I made cookies, go figure. Oh She Glows has a great recipe for breakfast cookies. I didn’t think to write about them the same day I made them mind you. I think I was to wrapped up in cooking greens.
These were pretty darn sweet with the maple syrup and raisins. Glad they didn’t have extra sugar actually. I should have left out the nuts but the husband is enjoying them anyway. We actually didn’t end up finishing them, which is weird but I wasn’t into the nuts and the husband forgot about them. They are tasty, but they didn’t draw us in to finish the whole batch. I’m sure I would have eaten them if I hadn’t added the nuts but it was kind of a blessing since I’d been eating way too many random things anyway.
