So I needed something not sweet and it was mid morning. I picked up Vegan Brunch and found this tasty looking recipe. It says it is like knish filling, and I can totally go for that. It is pretty easy but it states it can be eaten room temperature but I liked it warm. I also would have really loved it if I didn’t add the lemon. Oh well. I don’t know what is wrong with me and not really loving lemon in savory foods. Completely weird. I’m kind of that way with cinnamon too.
Anyway, this would be great for a potluck. It makes a lot and is very tasty. It is great for a quick filling breakfast or brunch. I had mine with tofu the first time and beans on my second round.
