Let’s get back to some good old fashioned baking, NOT from The Laura Secord Canadian Cookbook. I was craving cake after not really having dessert this weekend. So I made one. I found this recipe for Chocolate Chip Sour Cream Bundt Cake ages ago on Maple Sugar’s blog. Vegan MoFo came and it got put on the back burner. I also had some Guittard semi sweet chocolate I really needed to put into a baked good. The damn disks are way too easy to eat just plain.
This cake had such a great texture. The guittard chips are a bit big for cookies, but worked pretty well for this cake. The cake does not need the ganache (I just melted more guittard chips) but hey, I wanted to go all out. I needed sugar and I needed it in the form of cake.
