Chestnut Green Tea From Adagio Teas

I’m baking tonight so no baking posts today. Yesterday was a day off baking and I just hung out and sipped tea. Had 2 dinner disasters so I gave up and curled up on the couch with my new obsession, Glitch.

I was so not into the concept of this tea. Chestnuts, in tea. I put off opening it for uh, 11 months. Good thing it had great packaging. So I decided to brew this up hoping that the fall would inspire me to want chestnuts.

This tea was so carmelly and chestnutty I loved it. I couldn’t stop smelling it. I made the husband take a sip and appreciate the fullness of flavour. It is sweet yet nutty and so odd for a green tea. In fact, I couldn’t find it on the site, so I can’t even lik to it. They have chestnut in a black tea blend which I would expect but I’m loving it in green. I think it has a great balance and shines in the lighter base.
