Cuban Black Beans

I generally won’t post such a crappy photo but these beans really are very good! So just ignore the photo and make the recipe at Food.com. I always add extra garlic and red pepper flakes. My beans look weird because I drained them as I totally spaced when I was cooking. Oops. Still tasted good but didn’t have the right texture. So keep the liquid, it makes a difference for the better.

I like them over rice, but they are great in a tortilla or tacos! A pretty good basic bean that takes a half hour.
