I got a gift from Foodbuzz and Godiva in the mail yesterday! I was chosen as part of the tastemakers program to check out Godiva Coffee. Godiva chocolates are pretty fab, so I had high hopes for the coffee.

The husband did the tasting, as when I read the guidelines it said to create an iced coffee drink. I really wanted to bake with this coffee though, so I did that as well and I will post my recipe tomorrow. He first tasted them both warm and declared the French Vanilla the winner. I used The Chocolate Truffle in a morning protein smoothie though. It is a bit weird, I’m not amazing with coffee recipes, but hey, the husband drank it!

Godiva Chocolate Banana Protein Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 4 oz Godiva Chocolate Truffle Coffee brewed strong and at room temperature
  • 4 oz Almond Milk
  • 1 Banana frozen
  • 2 Ice Cubes
  • 1-2 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 Scoop of Vegan Chocolate Protein Powder or Other Chocolate Protein Powder

Instructions

  • Blend all the ingredients in a blender and serve immediately.  This has a great pick-me-up as well as being packed with protein and potassium.
