Okay, I’m the first to admit when a recipe is just weird. This cookie recipe had fresh strawberries and it was a noble try to incorporate fresh fruit. I like all of the ingredients. I veganized it with margarine and egg replacer and it didn’t really change the taste. I think the problem was that they are way too sweet. Crispy on the outside and soft in the middle though. Mad props for having jumbo in the name. That’s a way for me to get to try them! I’m really glad I left the raisins out, it would have put it over the top too sweet.

Meh, next time I might try to work something like this into a bar instead. And way less sugar.
