Maple Walnut Cookie Recipe

The husband likes walnuts. So I keep them around but I was trying to use them up to move. Maple syrup and nuts seem to go together well. These ones spread a bit so I just let them be. I even ate a few and I’m not so into nuts in cookies. You can even use a bit of maple flavoring if you want them more “mapley”.

Maple Walnut Cookies

1 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
1/2 Cup brown sugar
2 egg replacers
1 tsp vanilla
2 Tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
2 cups flour
1-1/2 cup chopped Walnuts

Cream together the butter, sugars, egg replacer, vanilla and maple syrup.

Add the flour, salt and soda.  Fold in the walnuts.

Drop by tablespoons on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
