Do I like these? I don’t know. I mean, they are okay. They are healthy, and pack an awesome protein punch. But do I like them? I don’t know. I’ve been eating them all week. They have an odd texture, but taste okay. Mine also look nothing like the photo at No Meat Athlete where I got the recipe. I think it was the rice protein powder. These would be awesome just raw without the flour and maybe half the protein powder I think. The cooking part just took the texture to a weird level.
I had a ton of cooked quinoa so it was a good experiment. Maybe by the end of the batch I can decide if they were okay or not. I think I’ll stick to my breakfast bars though in the future.
