If I had any sort of kryptonite, it would probably be Sticky Toffee Pudding, or Cinnamon Buns. I’ve made this recipe before, from the Bread Bakers Apprentice and this time I put a bit of lemon in the dough itself but iced them with vanilla extract instead. I would have made a cream cheeze frosting if I had some on me but I didn’t and we were facing a snow storm.
So I made my buns for a group of friends that would appreciate them and didn’t have one. This one was the husbands and he was hoping I had brought leftovers home. I left them with the host for a reason. I only have SO much self restraint. Some day I’m going to have to bake both these buns and Vegan Yum Yums recipe and compare to see which is best. If you make either, please invest in some good cinnamon, seriously.
