Welcome to my blog if this is the first time you are here. I’m participating this year in Vegan MoFo and I’m really exited. Vegan MoFo is a Vegan Month of Food.

As I’ve stated before, I’ve gone back to being vegetarian from vegan but I still bake vegan exclusively and I eat almost all vegan meals. I’m a lactose intolerant girl who doesn’t even like honey or animal byproducts much so I avoid them. However, I work in shoes, and I don’t mind leather. Not vegan. I’ve been known to eat a buttered veggie burger bun when out or not ask if the bun has eggs. Not vegan. I might have been seen with my nemesis pizza. And it might have not been vegan (and don’t worry, I paid for it later). The point is, that I don’t limit myself to strictly vegan foods or lifestyle choices currently. However, I do respect those who do and I won’t be posting offending recipes with cheese or eggs this month. In fact, I probably won’t ever do that. I’ll probably just go vegan this month!

My goal this month is to keep posting awesome vegan food posts and remind everyone that vegan food isn’t so scary or weird. Well yeah, some of it is weird. But I digress. Some of it is great! I want to try some new recipes from either blogs or cookbooks I have around. Things need to get a bit more interesting around here.

I hope I can introduce you to some new veggie recipes, some desserts that taste awesome and some healthy lifestyle choices. Even if you aren’t vegan, adding some cruelty-free meals to your week will do your body good. Think of this as a month of Meatless Mondays.

I’ll be traveling in November, and have a birthday so I’m pretty excited to blog a bit! I’ll be bringing my laptop so I’m pretty sure there will be updates from the road. Oh, there will be tons of terrific food. I can’t wait!
