Cranberry Apple, Blackberry and Pumpkin Butter Tarts

I love making little tarts. I have to practice on making them a whole lot prettier though. Since getting my food processor and it is SO easy to make pie crust now. Okay, it was pretty darn easy but it took longer to clean the damn thing than it did to make a nice flaky crust. Wow. I’m sold. Seriously. So nice to use!

I used the recipe at Evil Shenanigans for the strawberry jam tarts which I made the first time around. I used my homemade jam then and they turned out fab. This time I used my homemade blackberry jam along with some tarts filled with Trader Joe’s Cranberry Apple Butter and Pumpkin Butter. I only made 3 pumpkin and they were good, but I think a bit too sweet.  The thing about these tarts is you can really fill them with anything. The fave of the bunch seemed to be the blackberry jam. That’s a good thing because I’m not in love with eating my blackberry jam alone. Hah!

    Those look delicious! I hate cleaning the food processor, figures something that helps you make something faster is a pain to clean :)
